Bio

Personal
I was born on November 12, 2007 in Starkville, Mississippi. My parents are data scientist Zhuoxiu Zhang and electrical engineer Xiaohu Zhang. I have lived in Starkville and Cleveland and moved to Austin in 2012. I have a twin brother, also on the team, and a boxer-shepherd mix puppy Vidar. I want to major in forensic science at an out of state college. I like to hangout with friends.

As a freshman
I played mixed doubles all year with Gina Mepham. We lost the team’s only match during the state tournament unfortunately but it was a good first taste of victory. In the spring, Devon and I played doubles together and were one set away from making state.

As a sophomore
I started at line 3 doubles with brother and we won most of our matches. Again, we won the state tournament and became 2 time state champs. In the spring, playing playoff matches with both Devon and Leon, we won a boys doubles state title. I was academic all-district like many others as well.

As a junior

 I played line 2 doubles and line 3 singles. I became district champion, regional champion, and state champion in fall and spring. In our last match of the season in the state finals against South Lake Carrol me and my brother were down 1-3,0-40 in the third set. We locked in and went on to win 5 games straight and become back to back state champins in 6A Boys Doubles
