Boys Region IV-6A Champions!

The Westwood Swim & Dive team competed at the Region VII-6A Championship Meet on Friday and Saturday in San Antonio.

For the third year in a row our boys team won 1st place in the Region! 

Performance highlights include:

• Sonny Wang: 1st place in 50yd AND 100yd freestyle
• Raphael Wang: 2nd place in 200yd individual medley
• Boys 200yd freestyle relay - Sonny Wang, Steven Ma, Dillon Shadowen, & Nate Thomason:1st place
• Boys 200yd medley relay - Raphael Wang, Nate Thomason, Grady Radcliff, & Sonny Wang: 2nd place

A big Congratulations also to our head swim coach, Matt McBrearty, who was named Coach of the Year for our Region!
